...but we finally opened up the rest of our wedding gifts!! Haha! Well, my mom bought a whole bunch of nice china and since we picked it out and we had nowhere nice to display it, we never opened it. Today, we bought a nice china cabinet! It's really nice and matches the decor in our house; we are very happy with it. I also pulled out our wine glasses, cake topper and some other stuff from our wedding to display. I haven't taken any pictures yet, because we forgot to buy something to prop up the plates on. I'm so happy that we finally got this cabinet. It also has some drawers that we can store seasonal and alternate place mats and kitchen stuff! Yay for new home purchases!



I'm still waiting on Jeramiah to blog and post pictures of our back yard. We added even more plants to it today! It really makes the yard look so much better.



Riley also had her 15 month doctor's appointment today, too. Thankfully, she only had to get one shot and she didn't cry long. Last time she had this vaccine she got a pretty decent fever, but so far she has been okay. They tried to get us to do the flu shot, but we opted out again. Apparently, they combined the H1N1 with the regular flu shot this year. Despite the fact that Riley seems to barely eat, she managed to gain some weight. She is 23 lbs 12 oz (70-75%), 31 3/4" (85-90%) and her head was 46.75cm (75%). So, she's growing just fine and reaching all her milestones. She's added some new words to her vocabulary, too! She now says "hot" and knows what it means. She will touch the oven door, or other things that are hot and say "hot". She also says "cup" and "dog", which sounds more like "gog". She's learning more stuff everyday and is such a joy! We love her!
