Productive Weekend

A decent amount of money was spent this weekend but we saved a ton.  We bought curtains for our room (finally!) so that we can sleep in later and the sun doesn’t wake us up. They look really nice and I’ll have to take a pic to the moblog later.  JCPenny had a sale, we literally saved about 50% on these curtains.  I think just one curtain cost like $40 bucks and we got them for $16…  Of course we had to get the rods too and they were a pain to put up.  The curtains are like a tan and the rods are black.  They go great together.  We met up with Terry and Super G before hand for our traditional lunch meet-up.  We always have the best time.  It’s just so relaxing to sit and talk and catch up like that.  After that they went to Ikea for some things.

Then went to home depot and got some stepping stones for the patio to the pool.  I think we misjudged the space where the stones would lay which is bigger than what was in our minds.  I’m going to have to go back and get the same amount making it 20 stepping stones, 2 columns 10 rows.  I also picked up some herbs which were being grown—the kind you transplant.  I got Basil, Rosemary and Thyme.  Three good ones.  I planted some parsley seeds in the fourth stall of the container I’m planting out of since I know parsley grows real fast and isn’t temperamental to temperatures much.  Although I left them outside in 60 degree temperatures over night I hope that’s okay to do for the rest of them.  One more needed item at the home depot—a door mat.  We got one that we can put out during the summer months.  It says “Welcome: Wipe Your Paws” LOL.

I also was able to finish painting the sides to the bar room/home theater rooms.  Now I just have to concentrate on painting the areas where the wall meets the ceilings.  All in all it was an extremely productive weekend and I even cleaned the house!

Remote Viewing our next President

I’m writing this short post to kinda clear some things about remote viewing the next president.  I had ran a session on the next United States President.  I said it would be McCain.  This remote viewing session was based on a cue.  A cue is a question you want answered.  But, it has to be formatted in a way that can be understood by the matrix.  So this cue was basically asking for the color of the genitals of the next United States President.  When remote viewing you can’t get a name so you have to be creative.  This would be obvious since we had Obama who is dark and McCain who is white.  But McCain lost??  Then something occurred to me over the weekend.  If you remember my session which was confirmed by others who ran the same cue said we’d have a white president.  I simply took that as McCain.  But…it just said a white president.  Knowing Obama isn’t in the office yet makes me wonder what the future has in store.  While I do not like Obama, I certainly do not condone the assassination of any U.S. President.  There is a respect for the office.  Like we say in the military, you don’t have to respect the man, but respect the rank.  What if something happened to Obama, God forbid, wouldn’t Biden take over?  Biden is white.  Very interesting.  Anyway, even with that said I still believe Obama to be our president for his full term.  He has to be in order to fulfill the prophesies of people like Nostradamus and others.

I also remote viewed where Osama bin laden was at the time I ran it (Cue: Osama Bin Laden/Present Time).  He is dead.  I perceived his body which appeared to be decaying based off the absolute nasty smell that surrounded his body and the apparent tunnel like structure he was in.  There were two people that I could see… well two important people anyway who appear to be surrounding him and moving his body.  They were moving FAST…  That’s all my session gave me so let’s see what happens to Osama in the near future, since he’s dead I doubt we’ll see any future appearances from him.

Suing over Obama T-Shirts

I saw something in the news tonight that made me stop and think and honestly, got me kinda angry and I try to be objectionable in my reactions when I first read a story like this but the truth is very clear here so I’m afraid I’ve drawn my own conclusions.  What I gather from this is it just seems like there are people out there supporting Obama who is living the dream of Martin Luther King Jr.—equality and an end to racism…. wait…. UNTIL THERE’S A BUCK TO BE MADE!

ATLANTA —  The family of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is demanding a share of the proceeds from the sudden wave of T-shirts, posters and other merchandise depicting the slain civil rights leader alongside Barack Obama.

THE FAMILY OF MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.  Unf***ckingbelievable.  What are their true intentions here?  For equality and an end to racism?  HELLLLL NO.  Can you blame ‘em?  They’re superficial, fake, and just as greedy as the next guy when it comes down to even the slightest possibility of raking in some cold hard cash.  It’s disheartening to see the very people who up until now we thought wanted to put an end to racism really don’t care about it at all—not when there’s a buck to be made.  That entire family has publicly tarnished the legacy of an American icon of peace and harmony.  In fact Martin Luther King Jr’s family wages incessant legal warfare on those they feel are trying to profit from his legacy. Instead of celebrating his life and legacy and spreading the word of his teachings, they’re exhausted at running around town suing everyone they can for more money.  MmmMmm Gotta love that green cold cash!  Hell they’re even suing themselves. 

On another note, many of you who read my other blog knew how much I hate Rev. Jesse Jackson.. He’s a vindictive racist of the worst kind.  The only one keeping racism alive in this country is him and he’s made a living at it, a self-fulfilling prophecy.  So I found this and I gotta be honest I believe in reincarnation, BUT COME ON!!!

Our babys heartbeat

You know you’re geeky when you’ve podcasted your baby’s first heartbeats…. Anyway, we’re also putting a quick link here so that you can listen to it if you want.  Kinda cool how fast the heart beats.  Right now the baby is about an inch long and is growing fast.  It’s head is way bigger than its body and it’s lost it’s little “tail.” Most of the aspects of the baby’s physical structure such as head, arms, legs and torso are in place now.

The service at McDonalds is horrible

The city of Maricopa has it’s own forum (http://www.85239.com/FORUM/).  Kinda cool actually.  It’s the only city I’ve ever known to have their own forum where residents can pretty much chit-chat, or lash out at others….whatever you want.  And they have all kinds of threads—something for everyone to weigh in on.  It’s beyond me, though, how some people are so ignorant when they post on these threads.  I guess ignorant is the only word I could come up with to describe their misinformed simple minds. 

There is a thread on McDonalds here in Maricopa and it just seems like the people have nothing good to say about it.  Let me preface this entry by saying IT’S FAST FOOOOOD!  Well, they’re angry because of the service they get.  A person with a screenname of “pissedparent” wrote this:

The McDonalds in Copa is really pisseing me off lately. They make me sit in the drive thru for 15 or 20 minutes and then they still get my order wrong. I am really going to compain. They are really nice there, but one link in the chain needs to be fixed. And dropping alomst $25 for a meal is bs for bad food and slow service.

 

Oh, the HORROR! *gasp*  Firstly, you didn’t wait 20 mins…. you waited 5 mins you impatient jackass.  Secondly, go home and cook a simple f***ing hamburger if McDonald’s 5 star Chefs can’t get your order right.  I mean come on, that’s why they hire Culinary Institute seasoned Chefs and not teenagers right?  Stupid!  A couple weeks ago, literally the same type of complaint from someone else. The service and quality you get while dining or carryout at McDonalds restaurants is IMPLIED.  There shouldn’t be a question or any expectation of great quality food/service here.  The same can be said for ANY fast food chain.  Some of you may remember a post on my other blog about McDonald’s food lasting forever.  The author actually said that “[a] McDonald’s [hamburger] fills an empty space in your belly. It does nothing to nourish the cell, it is not a nutritious food.”

In closing I should say, that in my opinion fast food should be kind of a stopgap when you can’t sit down and eat a good meal…  Take last weekend for instance.  I woke up, and was driving to paintball.  I knew I needed energy but didn’t have time to make a breakfast.  So I drive to Jack in the crack and order the healthiest thing I could find: their Bruschetta Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich.  Very good btw… actually looks like the commercials and tastes great. I just have this suspicion these are the same type of folks who are never happy… they are pretty much pissed about any type of service they receive.  I’m sorry am I out of line here???
